It's Coming!

Sometimes I am a patient person, sometimes I'm not, this is a case of I'm like a child who knows Christmas is right around the corner, I know there are gifts under the tree, and I still have to wait a few more days before I can tear into those gifts!

I have been following the journey of these test books from the publisher, they have been printed, they tell me they have been shipped, when I click on the tracking, there are 2 companies who are responsible for shipping my books, one is OSM, at first it said on their site the tracking number and nothing much else. Lately the last couple of days, that site keeps telling me they are having technical difficulties with their tracking page (uhhhhhggggg!) to check back in a few hours. The other company is the good old postal service, USPS, when I put in the tracking number there, it tells me they are waiting on the handoff from the shipper (OSM presumably), it actually says "Shipping label created, USPS awaiting item". I've been here before, often times there are little to no updates until the package actually hits my mailbox, so I patiently wait. My inner toddler isn't liking the suspense though, and she is giving me a hard side eye!

I am making all kinds of plans when I do get the books in my hands. I hope I can do an unboxing video, it's going to be hard waiting to open that box on the way home from my mailbox. Yes it's a 6 mile journey to my mailboxes, unless my sister brings it to me, then it's just a matter of walking up my hill. I suppose I should get staged for the unboxing video so I have no excuses.

I also want to test out the books, I want to feel the paper, see the actual print, and test out different pens and markers, I have high hopes that this will work out better than my wildest dreams, because once I know, I really KNOW this will work the way I want it to, then I can go ahead and make the full book live on my site for you to order.

Another thing I want to do is start doing live videos of me tracing the letters in the books, I can do that on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, I know of people doing multiple lives at the same time, I'm thinking TikTok and YouTube, or TikTok and Facebook. I also want to do some live broadcasts with other people in the videos all playing with this book. I may be able to offer these for sale in the TikTok store.

I also considered offering the sample books for sale, I originally thought about offering a free download of the sample chapter, something you can print and try out yourself, but if I offer the actual sample book at a smaller cost (I can't do it for free but I can do it at a much reduced price vs the full book), then you can try out the real thing, what do you think?
